Sommer Tour 2022

ISU Summer Days 2022 in the Netherlands

Nurseries tours, visit to Floriade and ISU General Assembly

07. – 10. AUGUST 2022

We invite you to join us for the ISU Summer Days - visit exciting nurseries in the Netherlands and the horticultural exhibition Floriade Expo 2022 in Almere. We will also visit the Vlinderhof Garden designed by Piet Oudolf.
More than 50 perennial novelties were planted on the trial field and examined by the ISU Trial Commission. You will be able to view the novelties at your leisure, listen to the jury's assessment and witness the presentation of the ISU Awards.
We also invite all ISU members to our General Assembly. We are looking forward to the collegial meeting with you after a long time.

Many thanks to the Dutch organising team and all participating companies.

Summer Days 2018

Bei bestem Wetter trafen sich über 60 Staudengärtner zu den ISU-Summer Days 2018 in Polen
In good weather more than 60 perennial gardeners met for the ISU Summer Days 2018 in Poland

More than 60 perennial gardeners from eleven European countries, the USA and Canada travelled to Poland for Summer Days 2018 from 12-15 August. Grass specialists, representatives of arboretums and botanical gardens, young plant producers and also those interested in new products exchanged ideas intensively.
The new product review alone with 121 varieties at Wojsławice Arboretum offered many suggestions. But horticultural gems such as the Grochowscy nursery in Radkow, near the Czech border, with unexpectedly high-quality show gardens, also aroused interest in taking a closer look at Polish horticulture. The young plant producer Vitroflora in Tresacz was a highlight of the trip. Its managing director Tomasz Michalik, who played a key role in planning the current trip, presented the production and elaborate show areas there.
