International Hardy Plant Union

Yearbooks

5tm71.pdf Since 1995 until 2005 the International Hardy Plant Union has published yearbooks. They contain articles about perennial plants in the broadest sense. The main topics are the assortment and the use of perennial plants, but there are also articles about personalities with special merits in the area of perennial plants. So one yearbook each was dedicated to Prof. Karl Foerster and Richard Hansen. Other reports are on the perennial production in different countries, on the yearly ISU excursions or on the ISU Congress that takes place every other year.

There were regular articles on the International Perennial Plant Register and on plant evaluation in different countries. Here the reader learned about interesting aspects of the development of assortments. The yearbooks also presented perennials that have been awarded diplomas on occasion of the ISU Congresses.
All the articles are published in German and English, often fully translated, sometimes in summary.

Below you can find the tables of content of the ISU Yearbooks 1995 - 2005. If you are interested in a copy of an artible you can order it here. We will forward the copy for free.
